Brait
Sarah Brait was born in St. Pölten in 1991 and is a versatile cultural manager, musician and project manager.
She completed her schooling at BRG/BORG St. Pölten with a focus on music, then studied technical mathematics at the Vienna University of Technology. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree and then continued her musical education at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz, where she studied jazz and improvised music (electric bass) from 2016 to 2021 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in education.
Since September 2024, Sarah Brait has been teaching cultural management at the BrucknerUni. At the same time, she has been working as a production and project manager at the City of Linz since July 2023, where she is responsible for major cultural events such as Stream Club 2024, the Linzer Pflasterspektakel, the Children's Culture Week and, since 2025, the Musikpavillon Linz.
In addition to her organisational work, she has been active as a freelance electric bassist since 2017. She performs internationally, works as a studio and live musician, teaches and leads her own
music projects. With her band ‘Mamma Fatale’, she has also established herself in the fields of project development and management, the Austrian music market and cultural management.
