Die Masterclass mit dem Titel: „Orff for all ages“ spannte einen Bogen von Bodypercussion, Rhythm- und Singing-Games bis hin zu Improvisationen aus dem Jazz. Im Rahmen seiner Europa- und Afrikatour, die ihn unter anderem nach Wien, Salzburg und München führte, gelang es uns, Doug Goodkin auch für einen Workshop an die BrucknerUni zu holen.
Doug Goodkin is an internationally recognised Orff Schulwerk teacher who has trained teachers in over 50 countries worldwide. He worked at the San Francisco School with children for 45 years until his retirement in 2020, and he continues to work as a consultant, mentor, guest teacher, workshop leader and performer in local, national and international schools. He directs and teaches on the prestigious San Francisco International Orff Course and the Jazz/Orff Course, and is the author of ten books. He also produces his own podcast, The ABCs of Education.
