ÖH - Student Association
As StuV/ÖH, we are the legal representative body for all students at the university and consist exclusively of students. We are the point of contact for suggestions, requests, ideas and complaints – at the same time, we negotiate with the Presidium, participate in committees such as the Senate and the Study Commission, and represent the voice of students in application processes and hearings.
We also have all kinds of information about events or tips for studying or living in Linz.
Would you like to get involved and become active?
Send us an email to stuv@bruckneruni.at and come along to the next StuV meeting!

About us
ÖH (Österreichische Hoschüler:innenschaft) is divided into three levels: student representation, university representation and federal representation.
When we talk about StuV, we usually mean university representation and student representation together, as we work closely together.
1. Student representation (StV):
All student representatives are assigned to an institute. We represent you at institute conferences, vote in hearings at our institute, give voice to the specific demands and problems of the students at an institute, and advise you on questions and challenges.
Student representatives 2025/2026:
- ACT: Katja Blessing, David Flury, Aylin Sayili
- ALT: Mej Mansouri, Tim Lehmann
- IDA: Nastassja Denk, Kotryna Kuraitytė, Terēze Zabarovska
- Instrumentalstudien: Marie Artelsmair (SAI, HOL), Jakob Reiter (BBS), Valentina Schachner-Nedherer (TAS)
- IKD: Markus Wimmer

- JIM: Lotte Sandhacker, Cosima Pillinger
- VOC: Martin Schön, Samuel Schinko
- University representation (HV):
We at the HV are up to seven representatives who coordinate the individual study representatives and deal with university-wide issues. We organise events for all students and keep track of appointment procedures and various conferences (Senate, Study Commission, Development Conferences, Institute Conferences, AKG, etc.).
- University representation (HV):

3. Federal Representation (BV):
The Federal Representation represents the interests of all students in Austria and coordinates university representations throughout Austria. It consists of 55 representatives from various parties and advocates for the interests of students in Austria vis-à-vis the legislature.
ÖH elections
The ÖH is elected every two years. All active students in Austria are eligible to vote, regardless of their nationality.
The ÖH elections at Bruckner University are conducted by the sub-election commission of the ÖH election commission at Bruckner University.
