The Learning Platforms and Research Documentation Unit (formerly the Support for Innovative Teaching and Learning Platforms Unit) sees itself as the central point of contact for all digital solutions used within the university. These include Moodle and the b-doc system, among others.

In addition to supporting established systems, the department is also responsible for the conceptual setup and administration of new platforms, such as the easydb image database from the manufacturer “Programmfabrik.” A particular focus is placed on training employees to ensure the efficient use of these tools.

The administrative office is actively committed to providing the best possible support to faculty and students in their everyday university life. For example, during the grading phases, special courses on exam management are offered to faculty to enable them to carry out their work in a structured and smooth manner.
