Library
The Bruckner University Library is the largest publicly accessible music library in Upper Austria. It houses over 100,000 media items and supports study, research, and teaching at the university. In addition to physical media such as sheet music, books, journals, and AV media, a wide range of e-resources are also available. All digital resources can also be accessed outside the library using bruckneronline login details.

Goals
- Best possible support for study, research, and teaching at the university
- Display of the entire collection of printed and digital media in the library search engine AnTon:search
- Support for free and open access to scholarly and artistic knowledge by providing open access services
Responsibilities
- Procurement, collection, cataloging, and provision of media in printed and digital form to support study, research, and teaching at the university
- Provision of services to teach information literacy (guided tours, training courses for students and staff)
- Information and lending desk during library opening hours
- Organization of loan materials for university projects
- Administration and processing of bequests and special collections (e.g., AKM music archive)
- Administration of the institutional repository “Phaidra” for the university's digital holdings (theses, publications, research results, digitized holdings) as well as research support services in the area of open access
