Research Services

As an interface between researchers and national and international funding bodies, the Research Services offer a wide range of information and support in the area of third-party funding and knowledge transfer.

In this role, the Research Services support researchers at Anton Bruckner University in all phases of their projects with regard to internal and external funding opportunities. In particular, the Research Services support third-party-funded research projects by providing relevant advice and information during the submission phase.

In line with the university's 20 strategic goals, the objective is to raise awareness of the university's own transdisciplinary research achievements and contribute to the institutional identity of Anton Bruckner University.

Goals

• Increased focus on in-house research activities and achievements
• Contribution to the university's institutional self-image as a research institution
• Coordination between researchers, administration, vice-rectors, and the President`s Office
• Interface between researchers and national and international funding agencies
• Increase in third-party funding through motivation to submit applications

Responsibilities

• Providing information, support, and advice to ABU researchers regarding suitable opportunities for internal and external funding
• Providing and updating information on internal and external funding via the website and regular research newsletters
• Providing guidance and support in submitting third-party funding applications
• Providing organizational support to project managers during the application phase and submission process
• Managing internal b-grants applications
• Maintaining cooperation with funding organizations and internal and external project partners
• Collaborating on the design and preparation of research reports, intellectual capital reports, and research statistics; participating in university reporting
• Internal approval procedure for third-party funding applications: processing and administrative support for ABU researchers
• Supervision of documentation and support in the implementation of cross-departmental quality assurance measures in the process of acquiring third-party funding
• Support in event organization and internal administration
