As a cellist specialising in contemporary music, her artistic work encompasses solo projects, performances with contemporary music ensembles, collaborations with composers, and the development of interdisciplinary performance and improvisation formats.
In her research, she investigates how the body of instrumentalists can become an agent in shaping the creation of new musical works. Improvisation as a research method, collaborative processes with composers, and engagement with contemporary repertoire play a central role in her investigative work. By emphasising the sensory dimensions of musical practice and drawing on phenomenological approaches, her research aims to deepen the understanding of embodied knowledge in music-making and to strengthen the artistic agency of performers.
