5 May - 8 May PARL-SPRING LAB 2021 (event via Webex).
The annual SPRING LAB is part of the series “PARL - Platform for Art and Research Linz”, which explores the area between art and research and their diverse combinations. SPRING LAB 2021 is dedicated to an essential topic of research, namely the “methodologies” that underlie the work of researchers. In addition, concepts of artistic research will be discussed.
The programme includes:
- Keynote: Lecture performance by Jennifer Torrence (contemporary performance practice, artistic research, Norwegian Academy of Music)
- Lectures on methodology by: Annegret Huber (musicology, mdw), Kai Ginkel (sociology of practice, KUG), Lars Laubhold (interpretation research, ABPU) and Markus Neuwirth (musicology and music theory, ABPU), Claire Genewein (artistic research, historical performance practice, ABPU, HDK Zurich), Barbara Lüneburg (artistic research, instrumental performance practice, ABPU).
- Lectures and lecture recitals by ABPU doctoral students
