The series ‘PARL - Platform for Art and Research Linz’ explores the area between art and research and their diverse combinations. In workshops and lectures, the PARL - NEXT GENERATION and DAY OF RESEARCH 2021 is once again dedicated to an essential topic of research, namely how knowledge can be created in, about and through art.

The programme includes:

  • 5.11. PARL - NEXT GENERATION: The doctoral students’ concert. Works by Tania Rubio, Enrique Mendoza, Carlo Siega and Christof Ressi, as well as a lecture by Andreas Pirchner (Kunstuni Linz) on audience research.
  • 5. and 6.11. PARL - DAY OF RESEARCH 2021: With workshops and lectures by Leopold Dick, Theatre and Composition (Bern University of the Arts), Eike Feß, Archive Research (Arnold Schönberg Center, Vienna) Laure Martin Hiendl, Composition (Mozarteum Salzburg), Jeremy Llewellyn, Historical Musicology (University of Vienna), and David Monacchi, Composition (Conservatory ‘G. Rossini’, Pesaro), as well as short lectures by our doctoral students.
