Continuing Enrolment

For continuing enrolment in the next semester, the relevant semester fee and, where applicable, the ÖH contribution must be paid by bank transfer.

  • Each semester, we will notify you via email to your BrucknerUni email account as to when the tuition fee can be paid.
  • Please check your current tuition fee status on bruckneronline (the ‘Tuition Fees’ application). You will find all the relevant information there.

Once your payment has been received in the ABU’s account, it must still be credited to your bruckneronline account by our finance department. It therefore takes a few days between your payment and the renewal of your enrolment by the Student Services Office.

At the same time as your enrolment is updated, the Student Services department will also enrol you in the relevant MAJ semester level. However, neither of these can take place if there are any grounds for suspension or other obstacles.

To ensure a smooth enrolment process, please check the following:

  • Was the payment reference for the semester included when you transferred the tuition fees?
Payments made using a payment slip or without a payment reference often result in delays in the receipt of payment.
  • Has your home country’s bank subsequently deducted charges from the transfer amount?
For payments from countries outside the SEPA area, bank charges are deducted from the payment retrospectively. In this case, due to the chargeback, we have not received your tuition fee in full, meaning that your enrolment cannot be processed.
It is therefore best to transfer an amount that includes these bank charges, so that your tuition fee (plus the ÖH contribution, if applicable) can be credited to us in full.
  • Did your tuition fee only reach the ABU’s account during the late enrolment period?
In this case, an additional late enrolment fee of 100 euros is due and must be transferred.

Tip

Check your current tuition fee status in bruckneronline (the “Tuition Fees” application) so that you are notified in good time if the amount you have paid has not been credited to your account or if there are any outstanding balances.

  • Is there a reason preventing continuing enrolment?
    • Main artistic subject grade missing? Please contact your main subject teacher to clarify whether the assessment for the previous semester has been entered and marked as valid in bruckneronline
    • German language certificate due but not yet submitted?
    • Overdue items or outstanding fines at the university library?
    • Unpaid invoices issued to you by the ABU (e.g. instrument hire fees)?
  • Have you not submitted necessary applications?
    • e.g. application for an academic leave of absence, application to repeat the semester with a main artistic subject (possible twice)
    • The late submission fee of €100 is also charged for applications submitted during the grace period (e.g. (academic) leave of absence, repeat semester with the main artistic subject).

Course registration

  • Registration for courses on bruckneronline is only possible once you have been successfully enroled!
  • Registration for the main artistic subject can only be carried out by Student Services.
  • For the minor in the Bachelor's programme only: Enrolment for the 1st semester of the Artistic Specialisation (KSF) is carried out by the Student Services Office once you have passed the entrance exam or completed the admission interview. From the 2nd semester onwards, you can enrol for the subsequent semesters of the KSF yourself.

Nach you are enroled you can…

  • update the date stamp yourself at the ID card renewal machine (in the foyer by the information desk)
  • print out a confirmation of enrolment or a study record for the tax office, insurance company, etc. from bruckneronline (you can select the desired period yourself), in the application “My Enrolment Confirmations”

If you require a current transcript of records or a proof of academic progress for the scholarship office, please request this via email from Student Services (studienservicetyrbrucknerunirat).

If your address details have changed, please update them yourself through the application “My Study-/Home Address” in bruckneronline.

Please note

No enrolments will be processed after the end of the grace period!
