Funding

The Bruckner Alumni Network supports students and graduates of the Anton Bruckner University in realising innovative artistic and interdisciplinary projects. Through targeted funding, we create space for creative ideas, new collaborations and exceptional projects that have an impact beyond the university setting.

Support for student projects

We fund selected student projects, thereby supporting the realisation of their own artistic endeavours. The focus is on projects that demonstrate initiative, open up new perspectives or combine different artistic fields.

Bruckner Alumni Grant

With the annual Bruckner Alumni Grant, worth 1,000 euros, the Bruckner Alumni Network recognises an outstanding student project. The grant is intended to help further develop artistic ideas and provide long-term support for their realisation.

Application Criteria

‘poemmusic’ project – Sign Language Poetry & Music

One example of a project funded by the Bruckner Alumni Network is ‘poemmusic’, which combines sign language poetry and music. Since 2024, the project has been fostering an interdisciplinary dialogue between visual language and musical expression, opening up new avenues for artistic communication and participation.

Collaborative Performance Week

As part of the Collaborative Performance Week, students are given the opportunity to work across disciplines alongside other artists and students. The format promotes exchange, collaboration and the development of new artistic projects. The Bruckner Alumni Network is supporting this initiative for the first time in 2026 with a prize fund of EUR 1,000.

Through our funding, we aim to support students and alumni in realising their ideas, transcending artistic boundaries and bringing fresh impetus to the cultural landscape.
