Saskia Giorgini’s work as a pianist is internationally recognised for its clarity, depth, and distinctive artistic voice.

Her recordings for Pentatone include Images (Debussy), Consolations and Harmonies Poétiques et Religieuses (Liszt). These albums have received international recognition, including two Diapason d’Or awards, Recording of the Month distinctions from International Piano and BBC Music Magazine, and awards from Gramophone. Her discography also includes Schubert’s Die schöne Müllerin and Respighi and Schumann songs with tenor Ian Bostridge. A recording with the Trondheim Soloists featuring works by Mozart and Shostakovich is scheduled for release in 2025.

As a performer, she appears regularly in major concert halls and festivals in Europe, Asia, and North America, including the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, Wigmore Hall London, Teatro La Fenice Venice, Suntory Hall Tokyo, and the Filharmonia Narodowa in Warsaw. She has collaborated with orchestras such as the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, the CBC Radio Orchestra, and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, working with conductors including Eliahu Inbal, Hannu Lintu, Simon Gaudenz, Mario Bernardi, and Andrea Battistoni.

Chamber music forms an important part of her artistic activity. She collaborates regularly with musicians including Ian Bostridge, Vilde Frang, Janine Jansen, Martin Fröst, Mario Brunello, and Thomas Demenga.

Saskia Giorgini studied at the Accademia Internazionale di Imola, the Accademia di Pinerolo, the Accademia di Musica di Fiesole, and the Mozarteum Salzburg. Since 2023 she has been Professor of Piano at the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Linz. She is regularly invited to serve on juries of international competitions, including the Busoni Competition and the Liszt Competition in Utrecht. Her students have won positions in the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester and prizes at international piano competitions.
