Shotcuts Festival 2026
Die Jazzwerkstatt Graz öffnet mit ihrem Festival „Shortcuts“ erneut die Türen für neue Stimmen, mutige Klangideen und musikalische Handschriften jenseits ausgetretener Pfade. Für die Ausgabe 2026 sucht das Festival junge und aufstrebende Acts aus den Bereichen Jazz und improvisierte Musik, die mit eigenständigen Konzepten und Originalkompositionen überzeugen.

Rhythm Changes Ten
For our tenth conference, we have an open call for papers addressing the meaning and significance of jazz from multiple academic perspectives, including cultural studies, musicology, cultural theory, music analysis, jazz history, media studies, and practice-based research. What are you working on now? What are your thoughts? Bring them, share them with us.
