Facility Services

The Facility Services is responsible for the proper operation of the Anton Bruckner University buildings and for compliance with official fire safety and security requirements. We are the central point of contact for handling matters related to supporting teaching activities in the lecture halls and for any malfunctions or defects that occur in the building. The Facility Services Department is also your point of contact for all questions relating to fire safety, security, the parking garage, event setup, cleaning, and outdoor facilities.

Responsibilities

Provision and maintenance of Facility Services (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, stage machinery) as well as damage repair
Opening and closing of the building, handling of individual access requirements
Fire protection and safety in the building (especially occupational safety)
Compliance with official requirements
Management of cleaning in and around the building, organization of special cleaning
Support for university operations for teaching and events (assembly and dismantling of stage equipment, organization of room equipment)
Maintenance of outdoor facilities, park, and forest
Information service and switchboard (info desk)
First responders in the event of accidents or health problems
Management of lockers (handling rental and daily lockers)
Handling the rental of the underground car park
