National and International Relations
Focusing on the international orientation and profile of ABU, the Department of National and International Relations serves as a central point of contact for university members seeking cooperation and international exchange opportunities.
Within the framework of the constant exchange and intensified networking with European and international partner institutions facilitated by the department, interdisciplinary knowledge transfer is promoted and innovative perspectives are introduced into teaching and research. The growing integration of ABU into the international artistic and/or scientific community is creating diverse and attractive options for students and employees alike.
Goals
- Supporting teaching, research, and administration in internationalization and networking activities
- Establishing, supporting, developing, and maintaining national and international relations
- (Further) developing the internationalization strategy in coordination with the Executive Board
Responsibilities
- Negotiating and concluding partnership agreements
- Coordinating and maintaining contact with partner organizations and stakeholders
- Applying for the Erasmus+ Charter
- Coordinating the implementation of the Erasmus+ Charter criteria
- Coordination and implementation of mobility programmes via ERASMUS+/SEMP/CEEPUS:
- Study mobility
- Internship mobility for students and graduates
- Teaching mobility for teaching and further training
- Further training mobility for administrative and service unit staff
- Support with applications for international projects
- Representation in national and international interest groups
