Enrico
Coden
Enrico Coden is a doctoral candidate at the Bruckneruni and has served as University Assistant in the doctoral programmes since June 2024. He studied flute, historically informed performance practice and flute pedagogy in Udine, Linz and The Hague, and performs internationally with music from the Renaissance to the present day.
His passion for artistic research led him to focus on Italian flute music of the 18th and 19th centuries and the influence of historical acting techniques on its performance. Art, research and teaching go hand in hand for him; since 2022, for example, he has been giving workshops and lecture-recitals at colleges and universities in Austria and abroad.
Enrico Coden is convinced of the potential of artistic research to promote creativity in the arts and passes on his enthusiasm for art and research as a bridge builder between the doctoral programme and the Bachelor's and Master's students in teaching.
In the doctoral programmes, Coden is jointly responsible for communicating research to the university community and for coordination tasks as well as public relations.
